Smallgrove

I am also...a father, husband & kind of tall.

Hello there.

My name is Tim Emanuel and I am a web developer based in Pittsburgh, PA. Since 1998 I've provided front-end creative support and development for web based and mobile applications. I love what I do.

I've worked with some outstanding folks including: Alcrea Health, Bayer AG, Bayer US, Butler Health System, Carnegie Mellon University, Clarion University, Dollar Bank, Edgar Snyder & Associates, GeoSonics/Vibra-Tech, GlaxoSmithKline, MSA, Reproductive Health Specialists, UGI Gas Corp., West Penn Allegheny Health System, and the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy.

Smallgrove?

Sure — small is agile and not overburdened, like a grove of fruit trees that provide abundant nutrition without dense undergrowth. Small + grove... See what I did there?

The slightly less flowery definition is that Smallgrove is my portfolio and a place to experiment. Everything here was wireframed on Paper, polished up in Photoshop, and coded using BBEdit.

What I'm great at:

HTML, CSS, jQuery, PHP, SQL, Photoshop, Illustrator, and the usual CMS suspects: WordPress, Joomla, and Drupal.

What I'm not so great at:

Dancing, remembering where I've parked my car, and disappointing clients.
